Snow Day!
Over the weekend while I was home from college in Carlow we had simple sprinkling of snow. I couldn't resist but to take a quick few snaps in the snow. This is just a simple outfit which I would usually wear around the house or in to college.

Snood-River Island/ Jeans-Topshop/ Cardigan- Pennys/ Grey T-shirt- Topshop

I picked up this Leopard print snood last year in River Island. I loved it from the minute I seen it, the little ears were so cute I couldn't go home with out it. I find it so handy walking in and out of college during the winter its so snug and keeps me nice and cosy while most importantly staying stylish.
I decided to put it with this  little cardigan I got in Pennys, I love the elbow patches and it's so easy to just throw on over any little top and brought straight through to spring/summer.
Pink Converse-Office

I decided to add a little pink bow to my hair, it's a simple way to add a pop of colour and was a perfect match with my pink converse. I found it an easy way to add a bit of personality to my outfit and make it my own. And yes I defiantly could feel the little chill on my ankles, but I'm just simply obsessed with turn up jeans at the moment, and again so hand to bring right into S/S.

Rawwrr!!

This is a view of  the countryside surrounding my home!

I thought I'd through in a little tiger look for some fun and a closer look at the snow. I also added a picture of the lovely countryside which surrounds my home in county Carlow.

Hope you enjoyed this post,
feel free to leave some comments of what you thought??.
:)

Lots of love,

Latest Fashion Trend Obsessions!!
Chunky Gold Jewelery

In the past few months I've fallen in love with chunky gold jewelry. Probably the reason I love these necklaces so much is for there versatility. They can be dressed up and used to draw attention to a very sophisticated look.  However I must admit I love to see them themed with a casual lade back look, popularly most notably seen on Rita Ora and Rihanna.

Recently I found this very afford able necklace in River Island. I can't wait to start wearing it and blogging it for you.

Also I recently purchased a chunky gold bracelet in Shutterbug. Along with a watch or bangles it looks great. Some of these bracelets links are different colours with a great if you keen on a more girly look.

I hope you enjoyed this post,
I plan to feature these piece in my up and coming looks.

Enjoy your weekend,
Alice xo.

Outfit Post: Gold Rush

(Jumper-Shutterbug/Dress-Topshop/Heels-Pennys)
This jumper is perhaps my favourite item of clothing I posses at the moment and I've been so excited to blog it. I recently purchased it in Shutterbug a vintage store in Kilkenny City. I had been meaning to visit the shop for quite some time after stumbling across there Facebook page, however with college and work I never managed to get around to it. Thankfully over my Christmas break from college I got a chance to visit the store. I have one word to describe the store AMAZING! I certainly wont be waiting that long to return again.

So this is the outfit I wore for our my first night back in college. It's always quite a big night as everyone's back from holidays and glad to be with each other again for another semester. I decided to take a close up picture to give you a better idea of what my hair and makeup was like on the night.

Sadly the jumper experienced some wear and tear in the night club, but is still wearable minus a few sequins :'(

Hope you enjoyed this post,
Alice xo

Outfit Post: Skyfall

(Jumper-New Look)

(Disco Pants- Topshop)

I recently purchased this bat-wing style jumper in New Look. I loved the jumper from the moment I saw it, mainly for its unique shape and playful colours. Personally I think it's really fun and looks great themed with these pair of black disco pants I picked up in Topshop.

(Watch- Urban Outfitters)

The jumper is quite light so is brilliant for a typical Irish summer or can be used when well layered in winter. I can't wait to bring it on holidays this summer I think it'll look great with a pair of highwaisted shorts and converse.

This was quite the quick post, I just took a few snaps today before I went to visit relatives in Waterford. It was just for some fun, however I have some great vintages pieces to show you which I purchased recently and shall be on the way in the next week. As one of my New Years resolutions was to blog more often so I hope to stick to this.
Again the foul and ridiculous posing to be ignored!!!!!!!!

Hope you enjoyed,
have a great weekend,
Alice xo.

Model Of The Moment

Ok, so I thought I'd do a quick post Cara Delevingne as I'm quite obsessed with her at the moment. She is the latest fresh new face to hit the catwalks this year, as she is a young and current model she has gave us many memorable moments through out 2012 as well as great style inspiration for all of us fond followers. She is following in the footsteps of her older sister Poppy Delevingne who is also a well known model which has graced the catwalk for some years now.

There has been quite a lot of hype surrounding Cara Delevingne this year as she has burst onto the scene with Burberry's Spring/Summer 2012 campaign. She is now one of the Uk's top and most photographed models. She was awarded Top Model at the Best British Fashion Awards. She was recently involved in Victoria Secrets 2013 runway show for the first time which is a major achievement as she only recently turned 20. She has furthered her recognition by her companionship with Harry Styles from One Direction and also through her close friendship with pop singer and fashion icon Rita Ora.

Probably what I love most about Cara is her layed back style themed with a quite natural makeup looks. I admire the way she can make such ordinary pieces look fabulous on her. Shes my latest style crush and inspiration so I felt it necessary to do a small piece on her.
Hope you liked it,

Outfit Post: Winter Warmer

(Cossack Hat-New Look/ Jumper-Topshop)
As were now in the depth of winter I thought it was timely to do a daytime look to cover up and avoid those winter blues. This Cossack Hat which I'm wearing was purchased last February in the sales for just 4 euro before I went on a short weekend away to Prague. The hat is very stylish and extremely cosy, while can be easily themed with any outfit. I also feel it could look quite quirky for the festival season matched with a pair of aviator shades to avoid those well timed showers we've had for concerts over the previous years.

(Dress-Love Label at Topshop)

The jumper I'm wearing in this post was also feathered in my last outfit post back in November. It was probably my best bargain buy ever, costing only 6 euro. However it’s so versatile and simply goes with every look I had to include it yet again. Unfortunately you'll probably be seen it a lot more in posts to come but I just love it!! The dress I'm wearing is from the Love label at Topshop. I have this dress many years now, I originally purchased it for Christmas Day 3 years ago but it has been brought out of the wardrobe many times since. It's a ballerina style dress with a gorgeous golden tulle hem. Sadly it was too cold to show the whole dress off, perhaps again in another post. (Notice my white hands from the cold temps!!)

(Duffle Coat-Pennys)

Genuinely we'd be going nowhere without our duffle coats this time of year. This is just a simple black one I picked up in Pennys when the weather began to get a little colder. I decided to pick one with a hood as I go to college in Galway and it never seems to stop raining. However I feel Pennys had a great range stylish duffle coats this winter topped off by their agreeable price.

I hope you enjoyed this outfit post and apologies for the lack of posts lately as I was sitting Christmas exams in college. However in back now and have some great ideas for the New Year so please bear with me. Also please bear with the random surroundings of my photographs, I live on a farm so not everywhere is suitable. However I feel the lighting of these pictures have improved from my previous post as I'm trying out many settings on my new camera.

Hope you enjoyed,
Alice xo.

Kate Bosworth for Topshop

(Kate Boswort-Winter Wonderland)

So I've been getting very much into the Christmas spirit lately and decided I'd give you a quick preview of Kate Bosworth's new mini festive film for Topshop. In the video the super stylish star wears a perfect burgundy sequined dress themed with a gorgeous pair of jeweled pumps.  The outfit featured in this video will be available in Topshop stores from February 2013 as part of Kate's Collection for Topshop. As a massive fan of the highstreet store I personally can't wait until her collection is available to us.
