Outfit Post: Pug Life!

I decided for this post I wanted something colourful and fun to reflect the attitude of  the outfit I was wearing. I decided to go to the local kids playground which is just a few minutes down the road from my home. There is plenty of colour arourd the grounds while also maintained the fun aspect. I had to go early in the morning to avoid rush hours, so please forgive my tired eyes.

I have been playing around with the editing settings on my laptop and finally found what I was looking for. I love this 360 editing mode so I thought it would be fun and appropriate to added to this outfit post!

Bandanna-River Island

T-Shirt-Urban Outfitters

Without a doubt this T-shirt is defiantly one of my favourite items of clothing I possess at the moment. I purchased it in the winter sales in Urban Outfitters. I genuinely think its super ''cool'' and is a great eye catcher. The t-shirt as so much attitude I think it looks great with these disco pants from Topshop. I also decided to wear this cute red love heart bandanna I got in River Island last year. Personally I think it gives more attitude to this look while also adding a pop of colour.

High-tops-Schuh
During the week I was in Schuh in Galway and picked these pair of high-top platforms in the sale. I was extremely lucky as they were the last pair in my size and reduced from 41euro down to 12.99, so you can imagine how delighted I was when they were the perfect fit. I couldn't wait to blog them for you so I decided to wear them in this post, and honestly I think they fit in quite well. I can't wait to pair them with high-waisted shorts in the summer.

I hope you enjoyed this post. I have so much fun taking the picture and I really think it will add some colour to my blog. Thankfully no kids arrived while I was taking these pictures so everything ran smoothly! Feel free to comment below and let me know what you think. I have a very exciting post on the way for you next week, so until then enjoy!

Have a great weekend,

New Outfit Post:Grandad Cardigan

Today while on our break from college me and a friend decided to take a trip down to Spanish Arch to take a look at the beautiful scenery and get away from the hustle and bustle of the daily college life. My friend Katie also has a fashion blog so we used it as an opportunity to take some pictures for our blogs. Shes great for fashion advice and is always around to help out when I need pictures to be taken. I'd recommend checking out here blog its really cool, I'll leave her link HERE

Necklace-Forever21/ Close up of detail of vintage top!

So this is just an example of what I'd usually wear in college, its quite the laided back look while also been effortlessly stylish. Just yesterday a couple of friends and I were in town and we decided to pop into Public Romance a local vintage shop in Galway. I had always been meaning to drop in but never got around to it. However there was a sale on so I decided it was now or never. I was delighted I had done so as it was quite the little gem. Next time I'm in the store I promise to take pictures for you so you can have a better idea of what it's like. I picked up this over sized navy cardigan, its easy to throw on and will go with so many outfits. I also got these round frame glasses, I have been looking for a pair for ages and looked these the minute I put them in my hand. There unique shade and shape were just what I wanted.

Spanish Arch

I decided to take a few pictures of Spanish Arch and its surroundings. In my opinion Galway is one of the most picturesque Cities in Ireland so I hope to feature some more well known places from around the city in my coming blog posts.

I had been meaning to blog this top for quite some time now. It was one of my many purchases in Shutterbug over Christmas and was delighted to now be able to show it to you. It's quite heavy to wear because of all the sequins and good quality material. I really like the light pink colour I think it goes with my skin tone so all in all it was a good buy at the reasonable price of just 25euro. My denim shorts are from Pennys I got them over the summer, there extremely handy as I feel most comfortable in shorts, I can wear them in summer and then again when I go back to college in the winter there easily put with a pair of black tights.

Before we left two swans arrived, I had to take a picture of them, I adore how when two swans meet there partners for life I think it's so romantic!!

Anyway hope you enjoy this post,
let me know what you think and feel free to follow,

Until next time,
lots of love,

Snow Day!
Over the weekend while I was home from college in Carlow we had simple sprinkling of snow. I couldn't resist but to take a quick few snaps in the snow. This is just a simple outfit which I would usually wear around the house or in to college.

Snood-River Island/ Jeans-Topshop/ Cardigan- Pennys/ Grey T-shirt- Topshop

I picked up this Leopard print snood last year in River Island. I loved it from the minute I seen it, the little ears were so cute I couldn't go home with out it. I find it so handy walking in and out of college during the winter its so snug and keeps me nice and cosy while most importantly staying stylish.
I decided to put it with this  little cardigan I got in Pennys, I love the elbow patches and it's so easy to just throw on over any little top and brought straight through to spring/summer.
Pink Converse-Office

I decided to add a little pink bow to my hair, it's a simple way to add a pop of colour and was a perfect match with my pink converse. I found it an easy way to add a bit of personality to my outfit and make it my own. And yes I defiantly could feel the little chill on my ankles, but I'm just simply obsessed with turn up jeans at the moment, and again so hand to bring right into S/S.

Rawwrr!!

This is a view of  the countryside surrounding my home!

I thought I'd through in a little tiger look for some fun and a closer look at the snow. I also added a picture of the lovely countryside which surrounds my home in county Carlow.

Hope you enjoyed this post,
feel free to leave some comments of what you thought??.
:)

Lots of love,

Latest Fashion Trend Obsessions!!
Chunky Gold Jewelery

In the past few months I've fallen in love with chunky gold jewelry. Probably the reason I love these necklaces so much is for there versatility. They can be dressed up and used to draw attention to a very sophisticated look.  However I must admit I love to see them themed with a casual lade back look, popularly most notably seen on Rita Ora and Rihanna.

Rihanna sporting chunky gold necklace with laided back look

Recently I found this very afford able necklace in River Island. I can't wait to start wearing it and blogging it for you.

Also I recently purchased a chunky gold bracelet in Shutterbug. Along with a watch or bangles it looks great. Some of these bracelets links are different colours with a great if you keen on a more girly look.

I hope you enjoyed this post,
I plan to feature these piece in my up and coming looks.

Enjoy your weekend,
Alice xo.

Outfit Post: Gold Rush

(Jumper-Shutterbug/Dress-Topshop/Heels-Pennys)
This jumper is perhaps my favourite item of clothing I posses at the moment and I've been so excited to blog it. I recently purchased it in Shutterbug a vintage store in Kilkenny City. I had been meaning to visit the shop for quite some time after stumbling across there Facebook page, however with college and work I never managed to get around to it. Thankfully over my Christmas break from college I got a chance to visit the store. I have one word to describe the store AMAZING! I certainly wont be waiting that long to return again.

So this is the outfit I wore for our my first night back in college. It's always quite a big night as everyone's back from holidays and glad to be with each other again for another semester. I decided to take a close up picture to give you a better idea of what my hair and makeup was like on the night.

Sadly the jumper experienced some wear and tear in the night club, but is still wearable minus a few sequins :'(

Hope you enjoyed this post,
Alice xo

Outfit Post: Skyfall

(Jumper-New Look)

(Disco Pants- Topshop)

I recently purchased this bat-wing style jumper in New Look. I loved the jumper from the moment I saw it, mainly for its unique shape and playful colours. Personally I think it's really fun and looks great themed with these pair of black disco pants I picked up in Topshop.

(Watch- Urban Outfitters)

The jumper is quite light so is brilliant for a typical Irish summer or can be used when well layered in winter. I can't wait to bring it on holidays this summer I think it'll look great with a pair of highwaisted shorts and converse.

This was quite the quick post, I just took a few snaps today before I went to visit relatives in Waterford. It was just for some fun, however I have some great vintages pieces to show you which I purchased recently and shall be on the way in the next week. As one of my New Years resolutions was to blog more often so I hope to stick to this.
Again the foul and ridiculous posing to be ignored!!!!!!!!

Hope you enjoyed,
have a great weekend,
Alice xo.
