Life through the lens - An Insta week

I have a serious app obsession with Instagram, for me it truly is the greatest app ever invented. When I wake up in the morning its the firstly app on my phone I check. I'm addicted, and I apologies to all my Instagram followers for my recent picture upload overdose but I love to share my snaps with you.

The first 3 pictures were taken when recently while I was on holidays in America. I was lucky enough to spend my whole summer there so I felt I had to share that with you. The second row of pictures were a group of just random picture that I posted of my daily adventures. And the final row are all shots of me while I was doing outfit posts. I hope you like them and seriously feel free to follow me HERE.

BLEU

Yesterday evening, my Mam, sister Sarah and I took a short trip to Altmount gardens for a coffee and stroll around the gardens. As I was taking these pictures a peacock came along I tried to get some pictures with him however he was camera shy. The above pictures were the best we got.
This dress I'm wearing is a purchase I made in Topshop earlier this year. Every time I put it on it reminds me of TV presenter Caroline Flack. I love her style especially these peter pan inspired dresses, there so pretty and dainty. I usually don't wear this kind of royal blue colour however I really liked how it looked on me so I took the plunge and went for it. Above I have a close up picture of the lace pattern sleeve which I think is so elegant looking. I find this dress so easy to bring from day to night, pop on a pair of nude or red heels and you'r ready for a night on the tiles, what more could we ask for!!
Hope you enjoyed this post,
Alice xo

OOTD

So eventually the sun came about to grace us with its warm and vibrant presence therefore I couldn't surpass the opportunity of taking a quick few pictures along my stroll this afternoon. I picked up this cool american style baseball jersey in Marsells on Market St. in San Francisco. Lucky for me I did get a chance to see the Giants game and it was amazing. Typically american afternoon which I enjoyed with one of my friends and of course a beer in one hand and a hot-dog in the other. Proposals, kissing camera and cheer leading was all on display! Now that I've returned home I thought it would come in handy as a quirky and stylish tee. Here I paired it with my highwaisted Levis and vans. Yes America I miss you.

Until Later,
GOOOOOOOO GIANTS!!

Calaforniacation

Maxi-Forever21//Sunglasses-Urban Outfitters//Hat-Marshalls

As you all know I'm spending the majority of my summer in San Francisco, I'm planning on working for the and spending time travelling the west coast with a large group of college friends. Today we decided to take a much needed break from job hunting so we decided to relax and take the BART to Chinatown. We all ate in a lovely restaurant in the heart of the town, it was fantastic, I got to try my first fortune cookie ever. We strolled through all the little streets and visited some cute gift shops too. The weather was so nice, its great to finally get a chance to wear all my summer clothes. I picked up this hat today for just 4 dollars in Marshall's, a store similar to JK Maxx in Ireland. I can't wait to go back and get more stuff the prices are literally jaw dropping. What more could a girl ask for.

Also I decided to take the plunge and change the name of my blog to Dandelion days. I still need to change my Instagram name and claim my blog again with bloglovin' However I hope all my followers aren't having trouble connecting to my blog. Hope you like the changes I've been making.
So feel free to let me know if you've been to California before I'd love some tips on what to do over here??

Until next time,

Outfit Post: Day Dreamer

Blouse-Topshop

Boyfriend Jeans-Pennys/Chelsea Boots-Boohoo.com

Today my Mom, sister and I took a short drive to Milford Lough on the River Barrow, as you can see form the pictures it's so picturesque. In my opinion perhaps one of county Carlow's hidden treasures. It's such a beautiful place to do a blog post, I had been waiting for a nice evening to pop over to take a post, so with exams almost over this became a good excuse to get my mine off them for the time been. As you can see I had a bit of a picture overload in this post but trust me I had so many more that I would love to show you but I just didn't want to over do it. Never the less if you're ever in Carlow make sure and visit here, I'll defiantly be back here for more posts. Also I had to get my picture taking with the gorgeous cherry blossom tree. I love the colour and it's really in full bloom at the moment.

In this post I am wearing a white blouse which I purchased in Topshop during the week, it's made of a beautiful shiffon material which is nice and light perfect for the time of year. I'm also wearing my boyfriend jeans from Pennys (Primark) I love them so much they can be dressed up or down and are so comfortable to wear, I've  wore them almost every day since I got them, must invest in a few more pairs!

I also have added a new tab to my blog, it's a beauty corner where I will most certainly be blogging about all things beautiful. I love doing hair and makeup just as much as I love dressing up, so I decided I'd do reviews on products I use and if you have any requests for products you'd like to see a post on don't be shy and let me know. I hope you enjoyed this outfit post, I certainly had great fun today when getting my pictures taken.
Hope you all enjoy the long weekend,
let me know what you think of this outfit?
Love Alice xo

Daring Demin

Hated by some but embraced by many, YES ladies like it or lump it the Double Denim trend is back. It's probably been a mere decade since this trend first burst on the scenes and miserably failed (Irish girl group Bewitched been a prime example!!) However this denim on denim look is sweeping the S/S runway and is sure to stick around for time to come. Honestly I must admit I'm truly in denim heaven right now.Love it hate it its here to stay!

Hope you enjoyed this post,

I  ♥ my blue VANS!!
Necklace-Topshop

YEEAAY its the WEEKEND and this means just one thing for me no study!! I managed to take this quick outfit post before I headed home for the weekend. It's such a sunny day I decided to put on my simple grey maxi dress from Forever 21. It's not often I get to take it out of the wardrobe so the minute I seen the sun this morning I put it on. However I'll defiantly be wearing it when I go to San Francisco for the summer, which is now just a mere month until I departure :) I popped this stripy jumper over it which I got last year in Topshop's autumn sale. I'm also wearing my blue VANS which honestly I live in, I wear them almost everyday there so comfortable and go with almost every thing. I popped them on with this for a more fashionably sporty look.

I've been trying out some new settings with my camera so some of the pictures colours vary. Also I found a great website where you can make these picture movies I think there so cool, you'll defiantly be seen more of these in my posts.

What do you think of this look?
Comment below and don't be afraid to follow me.

Have a super weekend,
Alice xo
